Black Friday and making purchases before...

Hi Guys,

My straighteners broke:(

I need to order some and have found the ones I want on Amazon. My worry is that if I buy them today that they could be a stupidly low price on Friday in all there deals.

If this is the case, would I be able to reclaim a refund on the difference?

I would just wait until Friday to see if cheaper but I am out Friday night and so want to look nice!
26/05/2018 = I DID IT! I am DEBT FREE!
Debts repaid since 06/02/2015 = £23,079
Mortgage...forever!!!! - But who cares, when all I've ever wanted is my own place!:j

I think you know the answer to your question. The usual response to such a question is to ask whether you would be happy to pay more if the price went up on Friday.

They did, that post was 7 years ago. They don't officially have the policy now, but I have heard reports that some people have got a refund by asking nicely if a product has dropped in price. I wouldn't bank on it though.

It would probably also depend on whether the purchase is from Amazon or a Marketplace seller.

Buy one now. If they reduce the price for Black Friday then buy another at reduced price and return the original for a refund.

I picked up some purple GSDs for £70 in last year's Black Friday deals.

The Black Friday deals extend all week on Amazon. From experience, I bough GHDs for a Xmas pressie on 2 BF deals weeks, the reduced price has been the same throughout the week, including the Friday itself.

After she has used them? They would need to be faulty to return for refund after using.

No, not after she has used them. You return the unused pair assuming they are identical of course.

You can see where the confusion arises though, can't you?
