Help needed for Internet Explorer 11

Hi all,


I am on windows 8.1.


I have a problem with Internet Explorer 11. It is continually giving me 'Internet Page can't be opened'; irrespective on where I am going to; for example google.co.uk, bbc.co.uk, etc.


It is very annoying. I can fix it by going to advanced tab in IE11 and selecting option 'to restore advance settings', selecting option to delete history and then rebooting my PC.


IE11 works okay then for the first time bur after that, the problem happens again.


I seem to have got a bing search engine, which I turn off after the reboot. However I still get the above problem.


I know that I could install google chrome as a browser if I can sort out IE11.


Can anyone please help as this is very frustrating ?

Why do you need to sort out IE11 in order to download and install another browser? You've already says it works once after your remedial action, so use that once to navigate to the relevant download site and take it from there, then ditch IE.

Have you some sort of adware breaking IE11 ?

Had problem in work with IE11 and incompatibility with some websites. Our tech guys solved the problem by configuring IE11 to run in Enterprise mode. Try Google search for "run IE11 in enterprise mode". Seems complicated!
