Viber now unable to send videos more than 10 second? why?

Hello all

Hoping someone might be able to help. I have viber and for some reason I can no longer send videos on it that are more than 10 seconds, this has not been a problem before, I have sent videos 2-3 mins long but now I keep getting a message saying

"File is larger than 24 MG"

I've videos before that were larger than 24 MG so now I don't understand what's going on?

Can anyone help?

Just a thought but maybe they have changed the Max file size you can send as a video.

On the support page it says the Max size for a video is 180 seconds.

Any video we try and send more than 10 seconds doesn't go though now? Wish I knew why.

Filesize? Recording in HD? Lower the resolution and see of that makes any difference.

24MG and above will not go though on Viber, but before for months have been able to send videos over 24mg, 24mg is around 10 seconds, but for months have been able to send videos like 2-3mins long and much larger than 24mg. I have not changed the resolution or anything on the videos? Thats why I cant understand whats happened with it?

How do I lower the resolution on the videos of my hudl? Ill give that a try. The videos are not HD.

There should be options in your video app, or the camera settings.

Resolution and quality settings.

If 10 seconds is 24mb then you have the resolution set too high.

Thanks, the resolution was at HD so have changed it now, hope it works better now.

What about the videos we have already taken, can the resolution be altered on those now are is it too late? I checked the settings on the videos we already have but it only say slideshow, delete device copy and loop video.
