PPI question

Options
Looking into possibility of PPI claim.
Held a mortgage with Leeds/Halifax from 1987 until 2001. Remortgaged with Abbey National in 2001. The loan was interest only. Endowments were with Scottish Amicable/Prudential. Subsequently took further mortgage loan on a repayment basis in 1996. A life mortgage cover plan with Halifax was taken out to cover this element. Paid off mortgage early in 2009.
Is it likely that a PPI element was encompassed in my monthly mortgage, endowment & mortgage cover plan payments?
I also took out a joint life assurance policy with Aviva in 1991 which pays out on first death. Is PPI likely to be encompassed with the monthly premium? This policy is still in force & continues to be paid.
Additionally in 1991, paid mortgage security policy with Norwich Union/Aviva as a guarantor for parents mortgage. This mortgage has recently been paid off. Is PPI likely to be encompassed with these payments?

No. Most lenders offered MPPI as a standalone product and not built into the mortgage itself. Although some older mortgages did have that but it was clearly shown on the mortgage statement. Endowments cannot have PPI on them.

No. Again, life assurance doesnt have PPI built into it.
