Looking into possibility of PPI claim.
Held a mortgage with Leeds/Halifax from 1987 until 2001. Remortgaged with Abbey National in 2001. The loan was interest only. Endowments were with Scottish Amicable/Prudential. Subsequently took further mortgage loan on a repayment basis in 1996. A life mortgage cover plan with Halifax was taken out to cover this element. Paid off mortgage early in 2009.
Is it likely that a PPI element was encompassed in my monthly mortgage, endowment & mortgage cover plan payments?
I also took out a joint life assurance policy with Aviva in 1991 which pays out on first death. Is PPI likely to be encompassed with the monthly premium? This policy is still in force & continues to be paid.
Additionally in 1991, paid mortgage security policy with Norwich Union/Aviva as a guarantor for parents mortgage. This mortgage has recently been paid off. Is PPI likely to be encompassed with these payments?

No. Most lenders offered MPPI as a standalone product and not built into the mortgage itself. Although some older mortgages did have that but it was clearly shown on the mortgage statement. i also would like to check on the ppi on credit cards car loans and an old mortgage but i do nt have any paper work how can check and can i make a claim
also can i ask on my first mortgage i had an indemnity insurance on it will this have a ppi on it
