Does anyone here use these portable charging devices which can fit in a pocket or handbag?
If so, any recommendations/warnings?

RAVPower, I have a 16500mAh and it really does genuinely have 16500mAh capacity, so i'd trust their others to be the same quality.
You have to be careful with these, don't buy the cheap Chinese things you find on eBay if your likely to leave it charging unattended. Plus they never have the capacity quoted....... I bought a cheap 12500mAh solar power bank, the actual capacity was 3000mAh.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I like that the leads are part of the unit, so don't need to be carried around separately.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I bought a case from China (without the batteries) its brilliant.
Plug your device in and press the button to start charging, it switches itself off after a set time when your devices stops drawing power from it.
I wouldnt trust unknown Chinese batteries though.
Expect the capacities to be very optimistic. See clips where they put a tiny battery into the 18650 case and fill it with sand or flour to get the weight up.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
