It is on ITV so 7.5 million of those watching wont have the £s anyway.0

I didn't see it as I don't watch live TV after I followed Martins advice on avoiding the TV Licence. Is it on catch up?0

Interestingly, some newbie recently asked:
"Here" = "on MSE main website".
I didn't know if it was true or he didn't look hard enough. My guess was that it was unwise for MSE to promote blatant abuse. I seem to have been wrong then.
I think you'd need to have been avoiding reading anything about savings on MSE to have not spotted the myriad of articles and threads all about this topic.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
My memory failed me.
The question was about keeping switching for bonuses, not about multiple accounts for various benefits. I think this, indeed, isn't promoted on the main site.0 -
There was a girl on there with five accounts going on the cycle. She must be on here somewhere haha.0

I was surprised to see the front page of the Money section (in either Telegraph or Times, can't remember) dedicated to showing readers how to combine 5 current accounts for continued benefits going forward.
It was quite amateurish by the standards of some on these forums, but it was the first mainstream acknowledgement of having more than one account for the benefits with guidance on how to comply with the terms.
I'm not too worried about the masses getting hold of this though. I've explained perfectly clearly how to average about 5.5% on £20k to some friends and they all look flabbergasted at the "effort" involved. Even people who work for a bank thought it was too much effort.0 -
The thing is, many people have trouble managing one account,
If they tried to manage 5 they'd get into a complete mess. If you've got more bank accounts than you can comfortably cope with, then for those people it could well be too much effort.Early retired - 18th December 2014
