I work in a call centre in Norwich and we've just been told our jobs
are moving to India. I'm so excited!
I've always wanted to visit India and with the salary they pay me I'll
be able to live like a Maharaja over there. Well done Aviva, keep up
the good work.

I hope you will be able to change your accent so that we won't be able to understand you when we ring for help.0

So Mr Turner you are learning to speak with an Indian accent then!!!!!0 -
odd, I thought the flow was back to UK as people were not happy with call centre's abroad? I think it shows how much the company values it's customers when it moves support out of the UK....0

If I were one of your customers, I would be furious. If I go to the trouble of calling India, I want to speak with a real Indian. And I so appreciate the way that if I call National Rail enquiries they can tell me about the Delhi express: information that is not available on their website.0

Who's the company you work for?
Don't get too excited, because once you've trained them you're job is seriously at risk. Plus, you'll soon get home-sick."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

OP does mention Aviva, or Norwich Union in real money. I hope the redundancy notices 'Quote everybody happy'!
The Government are actually looking at out-sourcing work to India to save money - So, presumably the Civil Servants who are sacked won't be claiming benefits!0
