I am a bad consumer :p ...as I've been doing in previous years, I'm only buying stuff I'd need to get sooner or later anyway. So, batteries so far, and waiting to see if cartridges for the water filter jug make an appearance. Exciting stuff :rotfl:

The £30 saving on a Kindle Paperwhite is a great deal for anyone after a Kindle, but then they are only price matching Argos (£85) then Tesco Direct by selling it for £80..... so it doesn't really count.

The Motorola Moto X Play for £200 is a good deal though, but I've not seen anything of interest yet - my only impulse buy in the sales this week has been the Yankee Candle Carousel Advent Calendar for half price, and that wasn't even from Amazon. :D

Is Black Friday really that good??

Seems to me to be over hype by the media and certain large brand sellers.

Hypes folk into buying stuff they don't need or can afford...........

Not really, but this thread usually is :rotfl: We have quite a lot of fun and it goes a bit mad at times...

There's a few things I'm looking at buying in the next few months, so if these crop up during Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Xmas sales (whether at Amazon or somewhere else) then it's a bonus.

  • Does anyones Black Friday page on Amazon appear different? Mine was how it's always been up until about an hour ago and now it's set out differently and i'm confused :(
  • Hasn't there been a cut off time in previous years, around 9pm, for when offers started and then that was it until the following morning? I'm just clicking through and there are some starting at 2.30am, 3am, 4am...

    Hey ,guys

I was looking for a studio flash lighting kit for my work and came across this product. Seems like it will have a nice price(now is £74.99,I hope it will save me much more money ) because of Amazon Today' s Deal .

    Note:

Get access to this deal 30 minutes earlier with Amazon Prime.

I think the cut-off used to be 10pm? Seems to be running all night now.

Not having Prime (two accounts long since used up their free trial) and the £20 minimum for free delivery has meant I'm saving loads this year. There's been a few small things I was considering buying for presents but with the delivery charges on top it's cheaper to buy elsewhere.

Thread is quiet this year. Has everyone given up?
