Have got an N40i but having probs with the suction mount. Is there a certain way to get this to stick to the windscreen, as mine keeps falling off??

Have you thoroughly cleaned the windscreen? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

yes.....maybe I'm not pushing the suction pad hard enough onto the glass??0

Try wetting it slightly. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

What I have found with these mounts is if the windscreen is really cold then they have problems. Try putting your fan on the windscreen for a few minutes to heat it a little and see if that helps0

You don't have to press hard using these mounts.
The black plastic portion (with little dots on it) nearest the sucker pulls back away from the sucker.
Hold the main part of the mount, pull back on the 'dotty' bit away from the sucker, wet the sucker slightly and push the sucker on to the windscreen. Then push forward the 'dotty' bit which creates a vaccuum between the sucker and the windscreen holding it on securely.
Forgive the technical expressions, such as 'dotty bit' I just can't think of a good way to describe it :-)

Sounds good to me and I've never seen a Navman sucker.
