help with which a/c may be good for us

Hi,
we want to change from natwest advantage gold/platinum as they charge...

i know all the switch sites show info on different accounts but is there a facility as with car insurance that search for you and compare different accounts.

got about £2k coming in each month, no savings, and there's not a lot left each month if anything.

any suggestions would be great.

thanks in advance.

cheers
rob

    There is no comparison site for bank accounts. Did you check out the MSE article on bank acounts? http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/compare-best-bank-accounts?_ga=1.239943235.1792643167.1435847652

    Define 'best'.
    If you just want a free account you can downgrade yours with the same Natwest.

    IMO, without savings you have to chose between a switching bonus,
    a monthly reward and, possibly, monthly cashback on bills.
    Very likely, Halifax Reward will be the best for you with its £100 bonus and monthly £5 reward.

    Decide what you want:
    * a switch bonus (one-off)?
    * earn interest?
    * cheapest overdarft fees (if your £2K disappears at the end of the month)?
    * fast Faster Payments (avoid some Building Societies)?
    * other benefits (eg cashback, points, cheap overseas spending)?
    * efficient UK phone banking? With a freephone number?
    * decent internet banking?

    Prioritise the above and search - sadly there's no comparison place I know of that will cover all that...... but if you post your priorities people here can advise

    It's something mse could usefully do rather than just pushing the bank with the highest switch incentive.
