When does MSE Collective Switch Eon end?
Options
My Cheap Energy Club comparison screen shows my current tariff (MSE Fixed 1 Year Collective Switch Paperless Billing) expiring on 20th Jan 2015, yet Eon say that it expires on 5th Dec 2015 and it will default to a more expensive one. I switched on 6th Dec 2014, sop it seems MSE is wrong!
Are there no "Collective Switch" tariffs this year?

You have missed both the MSE and uSwitch collective switch offers - they were both in the last month and Eon won both.
Eon also won the UK Power collective switch at https://allofustogether.ichoosr.com/home/index.rails which is still 'active' for a few more days so you may want to see if that is cheaper than your current tariff (it will be cheaper than whatever they will switch you to by default next month)
Note: Eon let you switch from one Eon tariff to another without penalty so many users on your tariff would have switched to the new tariffs and extended with them for a year - and Eon will backdate the new tariff to the date you apply for it for existing customers
Otherwise MSE is promoting a British Gas collective deal or you could consider separate suppliers for gas and electricity.

Hi Mike
We stopped offering last year's MSE Collective tariff on 6 November 14 so I suspect, if you changed supplier, the end date of 5 December 15 is about right.
You're right, if we don't hear from you by this time, the account will automatically default to our standard tariff. At the moment, you'll be within the Price Protection window. This means we'll give you time to change supplier/tariff before the new prices kick in. The window is open from the date on the renewal letter until 20 working days after the contract ends. Provided we're told, we'll keep you on your current prices until the switch. Also, exit fees don't apply during this time.
The iChoosr collective tariff Sunil mentions ends today. You'll need to go through the iChoosr website for details about this product as we're not allowed to sell or promote collective tariffs.
Hope this helps Mike.
