Having reinstalled Windows I have realised that I don't have the registration details for an old version of Quicken which I got from a magazine coverdisk. Can anyone suggest a free home accounts package which will allow basic stuff like automatic deduction of standing orders/DDs, entering cheques, cash withdrawals, etc, and reconciliation with bank statement (manually)?
Alternatively does anyone have the registration number for Quicken 6 SE which appeared on the February 1999 edition of PC Format?!!

Try the free AceMoney Lite / Abassis Finance Manager / Personal Finance Manager
Some free open source ones: jGnash, GnuCash, Grisbi, RealCIX, JMoney, JCash, GFP
eBay search for Quicken/personal accounting software (some of the downloadable ones may be freeware).
