Hi can anybody help please? I have sent letter to Capital One asking for list of all charges but I am convinced I had PPI they said I did not,,I do not have any paperwork, does anybody know who the insurers were so I can contact them? Thanks
ps would like to say a big thanks to this forum as I asked the Ombundsman 3 years ago about a secured loan with Welcome Finance but it came back they could not help,,came on here gfound out who I needed to speak to and was told it would take about 2 weeks, 6 days letter £5500 refunded!!! Thanks sooooo much

The insurers/underwriters would not have specific details of your case. If they say you didn't have PPI then either accept it or send a DSAR for a copy of all data they have on you and see what they have left. If it was a credit card from cap one then it would have been on every statement where you had a balance so easy to check. When you checked your statement if you didn't see an unknown charge that you'd have complained at the time, you probably didn't pay any?
