Ha ha -- how ironic. Do you just ignore whatever anyone says and assume that everyone is like you and wants Windows 10? From the OP:
Try reading more slowly in future -- it might improve your comprehension.
No you try reading slower ... you are the one who tells people they are "mindlessly following" something. Keep your drivel to yourself.0 -

nLite (the XP version) is quite straightforward if you just want to slipstream service packs and hotfixes, but you can spend a lot of time fiddling with the extra options. It looks like NTLite (for post-XP Windows OSes) is similar.
The problem with the backup solutions you mentioned is that, by the time you want to do a "clean" reinstall, Windows will have had so many updates that your image will be out of date anyway.
The time it takes to download and add the new items into the slipstream, create the iso, is probably will take longer than just doing a few updates, providing the backup is not too old.
Hate that word "clean" because the next question users ask are "where are my photos, documents, favourets, emails and my wifi is not working"Clean often means get rid of the dirty virus, or clean up my existing mess, possibly in this case too?

Ha ha! What are you on?! So far every post of yours on this thread has just wasted everyone's time. Why are you so desperate to make yourself look like an idiot?
And... was there any reason in posting me this personal message:OneADay wrote:another reply ... think a bit ... and I might be able to teach you what an OS means to different people.
How stupid do you want to make yourself look?! And how insecure are you to feel the need to send me a badly written, incomprehensible message like that? Grow up and get a life.0 -

I disagree. I think it's helpful to forum viewers to be able to see the idiocy of some posters so they can take anything they say in such context.
Whatever the argument, private messages should stay out of my inbox!0
