Xmas crackers

Could anyone suggest where to buy some good value xmas crackers?
I don't have time to make my own at the moment, and I need some for a xmas party for both children and adults (although no-one will mind if the gifts are child-oriented). I'd like to find some that don't have complete tat inside...
Thanks for any suggestions

One option is buy cheapest ones you can find and then rebuild with your own gifts. Chances are anything cheap will have useless gifts in them suitable only as a choking hazard.0

I'll be interested in the answers you receive OP. I'm fed up of seeing the same 'gifts' every year, and want something a bit different. A couple of years ago, Aldi had some crackers with wind up racing toys inside, and a race tack on the back of the box. They were quite good, and were less than a fiver. I must check to see what they have this year.0

Thanks. In the absence of other suggestion I was thinking of trying the Lidl ones.Mortgage when started: £330,995

I should say that I have no idea whether they're any good. I was hoping someone on here might be able to point towards some that they reckon are ok... Lidl is just a back-up plan

I've bought a 'pass the sprout' in Asda this year instead of the usual crackers, I think it was £4.
Here's the Amazon equivalent....

I don't buy crackers. What I do instead is buy some silly toys for a pound or so each from somewhere like Tiger, and wrap one up for each person attending Christmas dinner. I also give everyone a fist full of party poppers. Far better than a pathetic joke and a piece of plastic tat.0

I do this. You just need to loosen one end and stuff the gift inside. If I can't think of a gift for an adult I pop in a £1 scratchcard (unused!)0 -
I love the 'Pass a sprout'!!

We do want to do normal crackers this year tho - a lot of our children are very young and haven't really had xmases that they can remember (e.g. DD1 is 4yo and it's the first year she's really aware of the excitement of xmas), so we're doing all the traditional things - mince pies, crackers, traditional xmas dinner etc etc.
I think I'll check out the prizes in the Lidl ones, and maybe swap the gifts over as suggested above if necessary.
Thanks for the help

I have got these this year from B&M stores.

The gifts are silver gliterball keyring, small pack of cards, bottle opener etc usual contents but the crackers seem good quality nice and big and for £3.99 they appear a good deal.0
