Ideas of cost for bathroom remodel - elderly friendly fit

Hi,
My 72 year old mum needs her bathroom sorting. It has a step over bath, so say no more as I think that's dangerous for someone with arthritis and lives alone. Does anyone have experience of dealing with the companies that specialise in this type of work and the typical costs associated?
It's a small bathroom, say 2m x 3m...I'm thinking the whole room needs doing: walking in bath, sink, toilet, tiles and some form of heating (it has none currently)...house is central heated to fit heated towel rail for heat??

Any rough ideas all welcome.

Ditto for the shower because you can put a shower stool in if needed. With those walk in baths, don't you have to sit in them and wait for them to fill up and empty?

i fit walk in showers at work for those requiring an adaptation. Obviously cost would depend on the fittings you choose, but for a bathroom of that size (we use AKW products but there are other brands) with double width braddon tray, electric shower, tiling, WC and new sink would be around £4000. A drop down shower seat is easy to fit when the bathroom is being installed.

My aunt has a walk in bath, and she tells me its nothing but a pain, lifting the door to open, and the rest. She would much prefer a double shower or complete wet room, nothing to lift or trip over. But just her opinion, but she is in her late 80's.

You might like to think about underfloor heating, if applicable/possible, just in case she DOES have a fall and is lying on the floor, at least that way there's a slim chance it might be heated until she's found.
