Hi
Trying to do a clean install on my PC before upgrading to win 10.
My installation disk will not load when I restart, when I go into BIOS utility the optical drive is number three, so I change it to number one press F10 to save and it just loads win 7 and when I check the BIOS utility its still at number three. Have tried three times but it is still at number three.

Why bother ?
You can pretty much do the same thing when you install windows 10 by selecting the keep nothing option when it upgrades.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -

Think I have read to much about installing Win 10, your way seems an easy way, will give it a go.

Something I would suggest, make sure you have the latest BIOS installed for your PC before you upgrade.
What's the exact make and model ?Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -

Hi
Have installed win 10 but was not given a choice to keep or not keep personal files. Will I be able to do a clean install now?

Yes, just make sure it's activated first.
You need to also make either a boot dvd or USB stick to do a clean install.
Google will help you on the howto's for the above pointsScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
