• Happy Birthday Hester animated-smileys-birthday-037.gifanimated-smileys-birthday-043.gifHave a fab day xx

I was quite shocked to see that we had some snow on the ground this morning especially so far down Sarf. I was going to poodle down to the market on my scooter today, but I think that I will pass on that one.

I was up at 6 because DH woke me up (He is such a noisy burger in the mornings) Then I could hear him struggling to get the car started, tried to get back to sleep but no way was that happening, so I got up, had a shower, took all my meds and had breakfast, washed up, put the washing on (Only one load of washing to do, I got most of it done and dried on the line yesterday) and dried my hair all before 7.30 when I saw DD off to work she borrowed £5 for bus fare

We are going over to B&Q when DH gets home from work, he wants some new blades for his scorpion saw, then we are going to see the outlaws.

Sounds like DS is up so my peace is shattered.

BFN xx

• Washing on the line and now am wondering if it will freeze before it dries. I have put the central heating on, not very thrifty but the cost of replacing my frost-bitten extremities could be more.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

I fell asleep on the sofa last night and woke up at 5.30am, freezing cold. Went to flick the heating on and it stayed silent so I wrapped myself in a blanket and decided to sort the boiler once I'd eaten and was showered and dressed. Remembered that the new shower runs straight off the boiler  It was 6am, I was half asleep and had to drag laundry and cleaning stuff out of the way so I could get to the switches underneath. Luckily it was just a pressure drop so I topped it up and all is well :D

As I had to move things around, I thought I might as well have a sort out at the same time. It wasn't supposed to take long because I did it not long ago but it seems the utility room has become the new place to dump bits and pieces. I have stuff all over the kitchen table but I've run out of steam so have sat down :D A quick coffee will keep me going for a while then I'll take Scamps out for a walk. I could do with some fresh air.

The bedroom is only half-done so I'll finish that this afternoon.

I've been downstairs since about 8.30 and had enough! I've had breakfast and even ventured out in the back garden to fill up the bird feeders (in my jimjams) and now feel my bed calling me again.

Hope you're having a good birthday HH.

Morning all,

just a quick visit to wish Hester a happy birthday._party_

We had snow in the night too and lots of wind. I must have heard almost every blast as hubby kept me awake all night tossing and turning.

Up bright and early to collect his new to him car. Its all singing, all dancing, and he's playing with it as i type.

Need to fit a bit of shopping in today too.

We are off to the caravan in Bude tomorrow until Wednesday. He's back to work on Thursday. Hope the weather isnt too bad, though we have proper heating in both the car and the caravan, its a bit chilly to take the dogs out.

Onwards and forwards,

have a great day all.

DD and SIL came round for lunch and dropped off their cat which I am looking after for them.

Lunch was pork veg and noodles but not as nice as I hoped. Making chicken peri peri and SW chips tonight and got ingredients for a pork, veg and cider casserole for tomorrow's lunch which normally turns out well.

Happy Birthday Hester :bdaycake::bdaycake:

Middle DD is with me till tomorrow and it is nice to have the company. I still need to put away the dry laundry and tidy up the kitchen and then have a browse on here.

Hugs to all especially LameWolf, Travelling Abuela.

• :hello: Good evening everyone,

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Hester, I hope you have had a good day.

Well its really cold here today! It was pouring with rain and sleeting this morning but the sun came out this afternoon.

DS went to work today, so DH and I went to pick him up from maidstone this afternoon, I bought a few bits in L*dl and bought the children a winter quilt each from Wilko's for £8 each, so I hope they will be warm in bed.

I have just been and picked up DD from work.

I haven't even started to think about Christmas, I'm just hoping we have some money soon to buy some pressies:eek:

Good night everyone x.
