Well, yes when I bought them I was a bit naive about these things, I know a tiny bit more about sourcing now, but I still really don't know what to stock - probably never will!

Coincidently I also bought these from Tesco! They are toddlers educational toys also sold by the Early Learning Centre. I just want to get shot of them and write this chastening experience off, then have a good think as to whether I am honestly cut out for internet sales on Amazon.

Thanks to you and RFW for today's advice!!

One failed attempt doesn't mean you cant 'do' online sales, you just need to find the right product. Hopefully you haven't put too much money into the venture, get out of it while you can even if you have to sell at cost - and then find something else.

Toys are notoriously difficult though, I rarely ever touch them now as the market is very fickle.

I wouldn't say it can't be done but if you're sourcing from Tesco, however good the deal you won't do too well.
If you are picking up the occasional bargain in a shop, then Ebay is probably a better route to getting rid of them.
Unless they're a licensed product that's out of date then they're likely to sell. You've still got three weeks for Christmas sales if they're in Amazon inventory.
Try the advertising it can make all the difference.
You're best leaving them with Amazon now and trying to get them to sell there, if you ask for them back that will cost more money and take over a week for you to get them.
