PIP is either standard rate or enhanced, There is No Middle rates.

If you feel you should gotten more points then take it furhter...

Infact PIP Care component is standard at £55.10 which is the same as Middle rate of the DLA version.

There never was a middle rate of mobility. So the only thing different is you're getting a lower amount for mobility.
  • I am well aware of the rates and yes I will be seeking a consideration! My point is that those who got high mobility in DLA most will not get the enhanced rate hence if you have a motability car the chance is very high in it going back! Due to the point they don't take pain into consideration,So much for personal independence!

Well clearly you didn't prove that you have severe problems walking and getting about, If you did then am sure you will win the appeal or reconsideration.
  • It's a can you walk or not scenario being in pain means nothing trying to explain to the op that cause she thinks and gets in in Dla does not mean anything!! To have had high to now not enough points to get enhanced thousands of people are loosing their only form of transportation!!
Nothing negative just telling her to be prepared that letter can come at any time.
  • Bob can I recommend you get some help with your mandatory reconsideration and if necessay an appeal?
