Hi, did you ever sort this? I've had 2 LRS payments of £1.40 & the bank say I was present at the transaction but I don't recognise it & I never pay such small amounts by card?

Perhaps a lesson to be learnt from this will be to check your statements regularly. You say that there are several of these transactions so how come they went unnoticed for a year?
Have these payments now stopped?
You will have to have a good think about this to try to remember what they could have been for ... perhaps the name LRS is confusing you; they may be for something you associate with a different name. What sort of amounts are we talking about?
I am wondering why your bank is being so unhelpful. In addition to what has been said above I believe the bank should also be able to provide some sort of contact details for the merchant.

Do you use Plusnet? Could be call charges or other sundry items.

So I had the same issue. Had two charges for LRS. Found out from my bank account that they are :

BUSINESS TYPE:
Misc food Stores, Conv Stores, Markets, Speciality Stores and Vending Machines

It's from a vending machine that I used to get a drink using contactless payment.

That is what appeared on my dd's statement after a Land Registry Service property search. It may be that there is another source with the same initials, but it is one more clue towards pinning it down.

OP, have you made a property search, perhaps a boundary issue or similar? Then there is this, from Googling 'LRS London' as advised:
