B&Q closing store...all stock must go...

I'm in Bedfordshire and our local B&Q is closing down, a outside business has bought the stock and any offers are down to them until the store is cleared, they have a 8 week deadline to do it.

Is every b and q store in NI closing?

No, as stated earlier in the thread some are staying open. I understand that Coleraine, Newtownabbey, Holywood and Newry are staying.

Does anyone have any inside knowledge on when B&Q will reduce Christmas stock by 75% off this year? Used to be in week before Christmas but a bit of Googling suggests it wasn't until Boxing day last year. I need a new tree so am on the look out for a bargain.

Closing down sale started last wk in Craigavon store. Prices going down further with more discount off them from tomorrow onwards.

Ballymena is closing this weekend. Not much left, only a few aisles were open last Saturday. One thing that caught my eye - any fire surround for £25 - seemed to have a decent range if you're in the market for that sort of stuff.

Most items were 80% off but the range is very limited. Worth a look in if you're passing.

Sprucefield is now staying open until the end of the year, and B&Q will 'assess footfall' to see if they should keep it open.

I called Craigavon yesterday - they said they're open until 16th April, sheds have 25% off currently
