Husband has had letter from Direct travel saying they are finishing travel insurance etc etc ..
Heart attack and a couple of other pre existing conditions been on the policy for 5+ years ... looking for annual europe travel cover ....
Have tried a couple of the comparison sites but already confused as so many differrent types / levels .... just need the right level of cover at the lowest price...and mustn't forget TCB / Quidco...
anyone been through all the hard work and found a really good alternative to Direct Travel ?
Thanks .

Every circumstance is different, but my OH, with pre-existings, had the best quote from Explorer Travel.0

I used Staysure for my 80 year old Father who went to Spain for three weeks this summer. He's had prostate and bowel cancer and he paid around £150 which was much cheaper than other quotes he'd had by hundreds of pounds. We went through Topcashback and he got £35 back.
We also used Staysure for his 79 year old partner who has no medical issues. She paid around £50 and got £10ish cash back.0 -

Explorer were 50% more expensive on my detail0 -
I have a number of pre-existing conditions, including heart, kidney and pancreatic issues, and got a policy from Avanti. Quite reasonable and they covered everything which others did not.0
