Good evening all.
This is my first post so please be easy with me.
I signed up to match.com in November last year. I paid upfront however in May 2015 this year I cancelled my automatic contract with them. I have just checked my bank statement today (credit card) to see the cheeky so and so's have taken another years subscription from my card on 04/11/15. With no warning!
I have emailed match several times throughout the day and told them I have not authorised this payment, to which they are telling me I reactivated my renewal and I do not have a cooling off period, or anything to be able to claim money back.
"I can see that you have received this confirmation, however, you were also notified through a pop-up/on screen message about the renewal's reactivation.
Having reviewed your account again, I can confirm that we will not be issuing a refund for your automatic renewal purchase, as we are unable to make any exceptions and sorry if you have thought so otherwise."
I did not reactivate anything. Its a blooming awful site!!! Short of going to small claims court (I am fed up of this automatic renewal rubbish and companies taking the mick) what else can I do?
Thanks in advance.....

Ive contacted the card company. They are dealing with it as a 'dispute'. But that can take upto 2 weeks to sort just wondered if there is a quicker way.0
