Lloyds TSB credit card - default notice

in Credit cards
Hi,
I took out a morethan credit card a few years back, which at the time was run by accucard. Due to my own stupidity..i defaulted on the balance and entered a DMP.
Then a few months back it appeared that morethan card had been sold to lloyds tsb...i only found this out as i got a credit card statement from them and thought "hang on..i don't have a credit card with these people".
Anyway, because of a mixup in payment dates on the DMP one month..they said they were going to issue a default notice....i protested that i had already had a default from when it was morethan card...apparently there is no record of this..and because i didnt keep it...it looks like i am stuffed and will have yet another default on my somewhat improving credit file.
Is there anything i can do about this?

Yes you did, Accucard were TSB so when the morethan agreement ended you got a TSB card in its place. Its how I ended up with 2 TSB platinum Mastercards as I had a morethan and a texaco card which were both Accucard and both defaulted to Lloyds.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
Thank you very much.Your an !!!! ejones....if things were that simple i wouldnt have posted this thread. What an ignorant and ill considered thing to post for such a prominent member of this forum.
Glad the advice hit home - if more people took note they would not be in the mess they are in on here and elswhere.
