Nationwide application process

Currently going through a valuation appeal with Nationwide... massive pain in the butt. Countrywide have valued the flat I want to purchase (a new build) for 10% less than the price. Developer has provided me with details of other, identical flats in the same building, same floor, same size, same finish, same layout also valuated by Countrywide, and they were valued in line with the selling price.
Now I have to wake 7 working days for the results of the appeal (despite the fact that a second valuation will not take place) and despite the fact that initially I received a report full of errors, and had to wait 2 days for that to be fixed, before I could start the appeal process.0 -

We had to pull out of our first house we found, which Nationwide were great on. Valuation and offer received within 3 weeks.
Since pulling out of the first house we then found another property and wanted to stay with NW as we though they were great. It's not going well this time though.
Application submitted on the 2nd Nov, valuation took place on the 6th Nov, didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, our MA then advised on the 20th NW required more documents. We submitted the documents and now a week later we still haven't heard anything.
It's frustrating the first house went though without a hiccup yet this seems to be dragging on and on.0 -
I have found Nationwide to be incredibly frustrating. It took 2 months for me to get an official offer.
Various glitches in their computers and people just generally not doing anything was what went wrong. If I hadn't had been clued up on mortgages and the process, I think I'd still be waiting now.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
