Partial Settlement

Hi All,
I have recently been in talks with a solicitor who took control of an old debt of mine for £1600, I had defaulted on it and was trying to make arrangements with them to pay in installments. I eventually offered a full and final payment as a partial settlement of £1300 which they accepted, they agreed to this and the the amount showing on my credit file would be £0 and it would show partially settled. It has been updated recently and is showing a balance of £313 with no mention of it being partially settled?? Any Advice??
Thanks

Complain to the solicitors and whoever they were acting on behalf of.
Say that unless the owning creditor corrects and updates the information, then you will be taking the matter to the FOS or equivalent, and reporting the matter to the ICO.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
