Bank Blocked My Account

Like others have suggested have a separate account set up for buying and selling purposes so you won't be in a similar situation in future.

To be honest your lucky it got dealt with quickly. As I was reading your thread I was wondering if you have kept copy of your communication with the buyer. Just in case the bank decide to reverse their decision or infact the buyer used someone elses details. you are covered.

Yeah i had all that on my ebay account so if it did get reversed or whatever I would have given it to them in no time

Unortunately my credit doesnt allow me to have multiple accounts, so im lumbered with just the 1 account

Any ideas on any banks I can get an account with? Preferably a current account as the one im with now is a basic account -

Well I for one am simply AMAZED that a bank would send a plain email to your address contained such highly sensitive financial information.
Given that email is one of the most insecure means of communication and the bank had no idea if it really was going to be you who read it.

I don't see anything "highly sensible", but I do take the entire story with a pinch of salt, especially after having a look at another 'car accident' thread.

i was surprised they sent me a response via email as well - but i guess that email address is attached to my bank account so...

and ive just tried my account and its working fine for payments etc, so its not an email scam
