Virgin Media -cancellation grrrrr!!

wealdroam yes I did! I had a guy call me on Monday afternoon who was very apologetic. However, in all of my correspondence to them I had apparently only ever mentioned cancelling the TV - it was so long ago that I can't even remember what I said but I do know that we definitely wanted to cancel it all so by saying cancelling tv package I would have meant that plus bb and phone. He said that he will accept our intention to cancel tv no problem but not for everything else - we ended up having to pay for 7 days phone and bb (£20ish) - I am not adverse to paying what we used to the point our services were switched but am not paying for past that. Even though it is paid the default stays so I am not much better off although it is at least "solved". He did agree that their cancellation process is complicated though so my advise would be that as long as you state you want to cancel, what you want to cancel and the point to which you agree you need to pay to, they have to accept that - whether it be by phone, web chat or carrier pigeon!:
