I just saw this and would like to join. I need to save a lot as I have a lot of children and one grand child.
I'm setting my goal at $2700. I'm putting my money in a savings account. So far $141.17/$2700

I don't think I'll make that amount but if I can make a big dent in it I will be thrilled!!
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

    Thanks Ellie,

I got a letter today from Tesco saying they will no longer be doing boosts after the next one next month, so I have pulled out of the xmas saver with them, so when I get my vouchers Ill be adding them also...

    Hi Ellie
Just put £50 in my pot so think that brings me to £176.
Surprised I have not dipped into it yet.
I am still trying to save small change and the odd Tesco saving stamp if I am in.
    Thank you.

    Good news Lorraine!

I find I am very disciplined with this challenge and I'm never tempted to dip into it but I think this is because I have to take a tin opener to my tin. If it was easily accessed it might be a different story...:o

We've just had a new kitchen and there has been a bit of a cockup with the flooring so rather than use my credit card I've dipped into the Xmas fund  I'm hoping I will be able to put it back between now & November.
