Thanks Triple Choc Chip, I know I shouldn't be hard on myself as I know this is temporary and soon DH will be busy again. And yes anything put away is such help.

This is one reason why I joined this challenge to start with to help us through those difficult months. As Triple Choc Chip says don't be intimidated or put off by other totals, you're doing great and there is a long way to go before the end of the year. I always look at it as, whatever I save is a bonus and a help towards Christmas;)

Ellie, is your OH a gardener too? It is hard this time of year and the weather is worse this year than last year as I know DH had a few bits and piece of work by now.
