Hi there. Can I join this year please? I had started last year but dropped out as I was buying things as I saw them last year. I deposited £40 into my credit Union Christmas account at the start of December.0

Come across my first problem - I have no change and really wanted to start one of the NSD challenges as well so don't want to break into my single £10 note (even for a newspaper).
What to do?
Would feel a bit of a cheat if I put an IOU in..
I very rarely have cash so I'm adding my £1 a day into an online savings account, would that be better for you too?***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -
£3 in my tin .. ooops today is the 4th ... need to put £1 in lolx0

Good afternoon,
Please can I join? I've saved the thread, opened an extra online savings account and called it Christmas, and have just transferred £31 for December. I'm hoping to save more, but tbh if I make it to £365 it will be more than I've ever saved for Christmas before

Hi everyone hope you wouldn't mind if I joined. I actually plan on saving for xmas 2016 instead of buying things as and when as it takes up to much space and end uop being stuck with it practically all year.PUSH YOURSELF BECAUSE, NO ONE IFS GOING TO DO IT FOR YOU

I have stuck a sticky note on my tin as an IOU in the past when I haven't had any change and then just made it up as soon as I have change...or I fleece my OH:o
...or as Karen says, you may find it easier in an online account.
