Credit Card Virgin - Please Help

Hi All,

I've never had a credit card and can't seem to find an answer anywhere BUT... how can you find out how much you can get on a credit card?

I'm debating of taking out a loan or using a credit card for £25k and thought I could avoid interest by swopping credit cards, etc.

Unless you have a HUGE income, and a whiter than white credit history a CC with a £25k limit is quite unlikely!

You only find out how much you're going to get once you've made an application. If you've never had a credit card before though you're likely to be offered something like £500-£1000. If you're needing to borrow £25k it's probably going to have to be a personal loan.
