Employment and Support Allowance if you're eligible.

You will not get help with rent if you live with your parents.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

How much were you earning? You would normally qualify for SSP even on your probationary period.

You can qualify for SSP from the first day of employment. Ask your employer to speak to HMRC if they are unsure of the rules.

You can still qualify if you started your job recently and you haven’t received 8 weeks’ pay yet. Ask your employer to find out more.
