Mse cash back for switching energy supplier

Hi,
I moved house mid Sept and applied to switch suppliers end of sept using cheap energy club,the switch was rejected by my current supplier as the account was not set up and needed meter readings etc. All that is sorted now and I am now free to switch,but when I contacted first utility, they had to close the first application and I had to apply again...now as this happened,will I still be eligible for the cash back offered by mse when I used their site to apply in the first place?
Also I am not allowed to switch using mse as it shows that one switch is undergoing.

    I'm afraid we're only able to pay cashback for switches fully confirmed by your supplier as completed via Cheap Energy Club. If you complete the switch over the phone, unfortunately you'd miss out on the cashback.

    If you drop us an email to energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com we can remove the locked status from your account so that you can reapply.
