Hi
I'm trying to rebuild my credit score after being in some serious debt. Iva was cleared from credit file over 12 months ago but since then my credit score has actually got worse and has gone from 3 to 1! Any ideas why this has happened ?
Thanks

Yes. It's because the scores are meaningless and don't reflect the likelhood of you getting credit.
Ignore it.
Clear your debts, and manage your credit responsibly going forward. That's all there is to it.0 -
As ZX81 advised, scores are meaningless. It is the data on your report that potential lenders look at.0

Thank you both - the actual data is good which is why I couldnt understand the low score.0

I have the same problem. It was 541 then 200 and today it's at 0?! No idea why all data is correct0

The most likely reason for the reduction in your 'score' would be the opening of new credit accounts and/or significant increases in your debt levels0

I would agree but I haven't increased my debt and the only change is removal of iva info which I would have thought would have a positive impact!0
