Do u think i will get a refund cos i believe i have been overcharged. Probably not but depends if i make a fuss in the shop when i take the trainers back

No because you haven't been overcharged.

Its merely a different price instore than online.

Make a fuss in store and they'll have security escort you out. Don't put yourself through the humiliation.

One of my rules is if I'm happy with the price when I buy something, I don't then go online to check prices afterwards. Because there is almost invariably someone selling it cheaper somewhere else.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • They buy previously respectable brands, stick the name on their own label crap, dream up inflated RRPs on these items then pretend they are reduced and therefore a bargain.

My post of the week..... sums the situation up perfectly!

Yes i agree with that idea, and happy if the retailer was different a pound or so but same retailer selling same thing half the price.

No, they don't. They buy previously respectable brands, stick the name on their own label crap, dream up inflated RRPs on these items then pretend they are reduced and therefore a bargain.

Not the only retailer to do this by any means but one of the most brazen.

Although they are well within their legal rights not to provide refunds for goods where you have changed your mind.

Share price has dropped by almost half since you wrote this. You're clearly right. RIP Karrimor.
