Hi all - I hope everyone has some nice weather today to enjoy.

My DFW things today/weekend will be:

    * Pigsback quizzes & QuidCo searches
    * Getting washing done as economically as possible and drying on line
    * Not spending any money unless it's on essential food, ALL weekend.....gulp...
    * See if any more cherry tomatoes have ripened on our plants - they are yummy!
    * See if I have anything I can list on EBAY or Amazon.
    * Have paid for some (needed) body lotion on EBAY with some cash in my PayPal account which was too little to transfer to bank account.
    * Will drop fiancé off in town tonight and perhaps pick him up if he wants to come home early enough, to save on taxi fares.
    * Friend is coming over later today to give me a box of free stuff she doesn't need any more - she's trying to clear bits & bobs in preparation for emigrating.

If anything else comes about, I'll update later!

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

I've been eBaying like a maniac today, and we've got the entire contents of the loft out on the lawn to see if there's anything else that's saleable,

Then in a bit we're going to have a bottle of wine (from the "given to us as pressies" stash) in the back garden, and make our own pizzas.

Thus staying out of the shops - AND the pub! ;)

    Love Jacks xxx :D

    - Well it's been a lovely sunny day and we've been to a garden party for a
friends birthday. Pressies were well received, bought months ago on ebay but perfect for the birthday girl :D
    - 3 loads done at 30 degrees, hung outside to dry, are now indoors ready to iron :( but smelling gorgeous :D
    - 2nd form to reclaim exit fees sent off, cheque for 1st set (£25) banked. :D

    This weekend:

I went and joined the library today (only lived here 10 months :o) and got 2 books out - trying to avoid buying books and magazines to read at work at lunch time - the publications in the staff room are a bit high-brow for me!

Posted an amazon sale even though I had to queue for ages, so it could go 2nd class and save on postage.

Only went in the shops I needed to (bakers and card shop)

Made a double batch of scones and some fairy cakes as we had nothing like that in the house and my parents are coming tomorrow.

Made Chilli for dinner (from stratch) but there was loads so have split the rest into 2 takeaway containers and put them in the freezer for another day rather than throwing it.

Tomorrow I'm doing the race for life at last (been postponed twice so far) so it's helping others as I've raised £236 and it'll mean I'm not out spending

So quite a busy weekend (OH's been washing the car, mowing the lawns and finishing the painting too).

Ooh I forgot when I went into town I parked in the free car park saving 60p

    Does this count;

    1) Sent £50 to my 0% credit card (have pretty much all them money to pay this off in a savings account, but no need to pay it off til middle of 2008)
    2) Increased the amount of SO to savings account cos I have just had pay rise
    3) Bought 20 bottles of Grolsch for £9.99 - 50p a bottle!

    Hi everyone,

    Today I have/will do:

    * Spurred on by MRSMCAWBER, today I have roasted a chicken (used onions and lemon thyme from the garden) and used meat for lunch and will have for tea. Currently making a stock from the remains. Also had potatoes from the garden, that I dug up.
    * Not using tumble dryer, or dishwasher which isn't working anyway as no water going in! Ah well that repair can wait.
    * Done Quidco bits and pieces and got £8.50 for applying for credit card, knew I wouldn't get it but not at all bothered.
    * Checked online banking - pay has gone in but can't get it as bank cards haven't come yet, the pin number has but it's a bit useless on it's own!
    * Look at some more matched betting and bingo sites through Quidco when get debit card.
