SD or SDHC?

class 4 is slow.
Get class 100 -
There IS such a thing as a 4GB SD (not HC) card, but they're very rare and not worth finding. 4GB is the limit of SD. OP - get yourself the biggest MicroSD card you are after and see where it goes from there. Any device that doesn't take it will take something smaller. With prices the way they are (£17 for a 64GB card!) it'll be cheap as chips. No, cheaper!
There were 4GB SD cards but they didn't follow the SD spec (which tops out at 2GB) and they weren't really compatible with anything, they didn't work with most SD devices nor SDHC hence the rarity as they quickly died off thankfully.
