Cheapest web hosting for a wordpress blog?

Can anyone recommend a reliable web host for a wordpress blog? Won't need too much space but don't want a host who always has downtime. Won't need web support as I'm confident with using it but want a low price for the first year at least.

Hostinger has a free option which is quite good.
Also FreeHosting.Com0 -
I use Godaddy (Not a lot of people like them though)
you get some webspace when you buy a domain.
DON'T use their website builder or Website tools to install WordPress (that costs extra!)
Just copy the WordPress download to the root of your domain and extract.
You get 10 free SQL databases slots so use one to create a Wordpress Database
And off you go!Laters

I used to recommend 000webhost.com until their site got hacked and loads of emails and passwords in plain text published.
It's also worth pointing out that 000webhost is owned by Hostinger....

I use hostgator myself. They are US based but I can't fault them.
It's about 5 quid a month for my domain and a renewal of around 9 quid each year.
Great customer services as far as I'm concerned. Always quick to respond and deal with stuff and help with some of the technical stuff.
Useful cPanel with lots of tools (including WordPress - though I'm not sure how it works, never used it).0 -
No experience myself but on here I have seen regular posts praising Vidahost when the subject of web hosting is raised.0
