I realise that a default should be removed after 6 years, I defaulted in 2011, in 2013 the debt was sold off and I then paid it off in full. So according to this image from experian, is it 6 years from the default date, or six years from when the account was sold to a 3rd party?
Account started: 28/08/2007

Thanks in advance.

6 years from default date, so 2017. The debt being sold on does not change that.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Just make sure that they do not add their own default, if they do make a complaint and get that removed.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
