Economy Energy Ltd

Hi Guys,
Currently in the process of moving house, the Gas supply at the new property is supplied by a company called Economy Energy, Electric supplied by Ovo, Personally I've never heard of Economy Energy, nor ever seen them pop up in any U-switch searches I've done in the past.
Does anyone currently get their supply from them, looking at their website, specifically the service charge and KWH charges they beat our currently supply (utilita) at our old property hands down, simply by not charging a service charge.
I have a couple of concerns tho, 1 of which I've previously mentioned........ I've never heard of them, and another, I've spoken to them on the phone a couple of times (Call centre in India by the sounds of it)
Although they seem professional in their telephone manner, they also come across as incompetent, for instance, upon receiving keys to the new property I called them to discuss having them supply the property, which they were happy to do, however after asking for a gas card to be supplied due to their not being 1 in the property, the rep proceeded to try and find a local pay point centre that could. it was made aware to him I was in no rush for the card as I wasn't moving in for a week or 2, he still proceeded to try find a retailer, which went on for approx 5-10 mins, it wasn't until I asked if 1 could be sent in the post, he said 'Oh yes of course, that's a good idea isn't it' which not only made me laugh, I was shocked that it hadn't occurred to him.
Looking at each tariff from Economy, Ovo and Utilita
Economy charge
0.00 Service charge and 16.78 p/kwh on Electric,
with a daily standing charge of 26.00 standing charge on Gas and 4.05p/kwh
Ovo tariff shows
34.52 per day standing Charge and 14.19p/kwh on Electric
31.65 per day standing charge and 3.81p/kwh on Gas
Finally Utilita who supply our old property,
13.85 per day standing charge and 15.46 p/kwh on Electric
20.99 per day standing charge and 4.37 p/kwh on Gas
Comparing the 3, economy Energy look to be the one to go with going off their being no service charge on the Electric supply. However as I mentioned above them seem abit of a cowboy outfit, any advice is appreciated.

From reading the transcript of the phone call above, I would hardly say that is cause to label them a "cowboy outfit". Most people that call because they don't have a prepayment card in winter are pretty desperate indeed, and would really appreciate one being sourced immediately.
As for the pricing matter, it's impossible to say without having a rough handle on your annual consumption. If you used 3000KWh a year (below average), EE are the cheapest. If you used 4000 KWh a year (above average), it becomes Utilita.
The above calculations are for elec only btw.0 -

Yes I am sure some people that do call are in desperate need, however I made it clear from the start of the call we weren't moving in until a couple of week later. We received a gas card from them a few days ago, we inserted it, didn't clear the debt left from the previous occupant of the house, even tho meter readings had been given and being told the card we received would take care of it so think they deserve the title 'cowboy outfit'. I'm now awaiting the arrival of a new gas card!0
