Whiplash

A while ago I was driven into while stationary in a queue of traffic on the M5, the person driving towards the back of the queue just didn't see it had stopped. Luck for me I had left a good big gap from the car in front as when the car drove into me it pushed me forward a good few meters. I have never claimed anything in my life and to be honest was not at the time to bothered. However over the following couple of weeks I had legitimately suffered from whiplash, im not crippled from it but it has had an impact on working and general day to day life. I decided to call one of the claims people you see advertised but it was like nothing I had ever experienced, I think I had 10 follow up calls in the first 24 hours from them. In the end I was so cross I asked to be removed from there system and didn't want to deal with them. In short does anybody know of any more morally correct companies who deal with this sort of claim as I don't want to feed the awful ambulance chasing cowboys so many seem to be!

Whoever you choose to deal with it won't stop them following up your enquiry if you don't sign up with them.

(Not immoral, just normal business practice to "follow up" a "hot" enquiry.)

Be wary of any recommendations or PMs you get from ambulance chasers lurking on MSE as a result of your thread

See if your own (or a local) solicitor can recommend a firm.
