JSA and Voluntary Redundancy

i have just accepted voluntary redundancy and have arranged a inteview with regards to claiming jsa
this is mainly due to a medical condition and age , i am 62

A// will my JSA claim be affected because of the voluntary aspect

B// would any other benifits be available,my wife works about 20 hours per week

    The voluntary factor won't stop you claiming JSA, depending on whether you rent or not you maybe entitled to some Housing/Council tax benefit but that would depend on how much your wife earns and what your joint savings are.
