first:utility - Three Year Fixed Deal
Hello, I recently switch to first:utility for a fixed deal until Christmas 2016. It saved me money. I have recently received an email from them offering to extend that to January 2019 and are willing to waiver the exit fee if I do.
I am very suspicious of these companies; my feeling is that their long term forecast could be showing energy bills continuing to drop and want to tempt people into lengthy and potentially costly fixed deals. Does anyone have any views on this?

I would be delighted to fix for three years at:
Gas 2.4p per kWh
Electricity 8p per kWh
15p per day per fuel Standing Charge
I would be horrified to fix for three years at:
Gas 4p per kWh
Electricty 13p per kWh
20p per day per fuel Standing Charge
The first case is just my fantasy currently.0
