Block wall

I need to build a 3m block wall, so it means I need to cut about 15cm off one block, but that means the blocks wont be staggered evenly, the joins wont be in the middle of the next row of blocks. Is that ok, or is there a way around it?

Not quite sure what it is your doing a Freestanding wall (you could incorporate 15 cm into end piers?)
or connecting to existing but there are a number of ways to extend from existing brick/block work

Do the cut last on the row, not first? Then you're not setting off incorrectly.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • Its coming out from a brick wall, so I'm using a wall starter kit to tie it to the wall.
If I do the cut last, then on the rows I start with half a block, it means I'll end with a bit of block only 15cm wide, will that be ok?

    ???????
Work back from your finish point to the brick wall.
Start full block on first course, the half block on second course.
Infil with oddments at the brick wall.........
Unless of course I have misunderstood what you are doing !!!!

Would depend block size, type, its function etc ? Not supporting most likely fine? Supporting would depend on what ?, Sometimes you can increase the mortar between brick / block but over short distance as yours unlikely. A definitive answer without definitive description, calculations etc is unlikely
  • Its a normal concrete block, 440 x 215 x 100. Its the inside wall of a cavity wall, (using the solid brick wall behind it to make the cavity, which it will also be tied to) for a conservatory, so it will have the weight of one side of the poly carbonate roof, so not a lot of weight.
I think I'll go with the joins being just slightly off centre.
