No fault claim direct settlement

Hi
Few months back my car was hit by bus and got a small dent. I informed my insurance company but didn't made any claim as bus company agreed to compensate directly to me. Subsequently I sold the car and got a new one. I am now looking for renewal of insurance, should I mention the claim I got directly from the bus company ? Renewal letter from my current insurer does not mention any claim amount.
