Refund of account balance after switch.?

Options
Hi all,

What's the general timescale for refunds to be completed when there is a balance owing to the customer after switching to another energy provider.?

Is this a variable thing or is there is more or less accepted timeframe.?

To add..... I have gone from First Utility to Sainsbury's Energy.

Switch date to final bill should be a maximum of 6 weeks. If this doesn't happen or you don't get any refund straight away after that raise a formal complaint.
