Has anyone played the Candy Crush levels around levels 1325+? I think may have created some new swear words trying (and failing) to pass those :rotfl:

Currently stuck on level 1389. I think recent levels are produced at a high rate (one episode - 15 levels a week) and therefore they aren't all fully tested. Countering that, a lot of candy crush addicts spend a lot of time at the terminus and use that time to build their stash of booster candies that they then use to complete the hardest levels.

Had a rather dim butcher refuse to let me use my wife's cards today, I don't actually blame him for that. He is the only one of nearly 20 outlets who has even noticed.

What I DO blame him for is treating me like a criminal when I explained why I wanted to split the £50 over 5 cards. He told me I could be a criminal. He said I could have stolen the cards. He told me he wouldn't accept an unsigned card (anybody else not bother signing them these days? I can't really see the point.) He even had our driving licences to refer to (ie with photo of me and identical address for my wife) and still acted like he was foiling some major fraud plot. He refused to believe that Amex are offering £5 back when you spend £10.

In the end I walked away, so that was a complete waste of time, I regret not buying the £30 rib joint on my 3 cards now, which he probably (finally) would have done.

Shame, their meat is excellent. 2 more quality butchers up in Launceston later on, though - one played ball last year so I'm hopeful about the bill splitting. I guess restaurants do it all the time.

To be fair a common fraud is to use stolen cards for amounts below the radar, so a request to split a purchase amongst a handful of cards not all in your name is going to raise suspicion.

Sadly this Giovanni went up in price in M on Monday, turning this womble from being alright to being not that good (59p:().

The Chocolate Mint Thins do pick up M pricing, but we don't know if they pick up the M mbuy because they only bought one pack. They should do - and, if they do, then they would work out better by weight than the After Eight Mints worked out. 100g more for same price. So, if you have not got enough After Eights already, maybe time to top up with the own brand version vs M.

I wonder if something has changed on their tills as I am convinced someone combined nectar and CC and bonus points

Were you using up your 1000 points code? That should at least have combined with the nectar £10 ones

I am hopng so as going back today (1000 bonus ends today) - please can someone remind me - can Mrs Anon and I both get the 1000 bonus on the same bill or do we need to split the bill?

    Many thanks

I might just use my 3 cards at the other butchers. Or take my passport as well. Like I said, I don't actually blame him for spotting they were different names etc, but he could have been a bit more pleasant, even if still refusing.

Absolutely everybody else has been charming and usually when I tell the Spar ladies why I'm doing it they all think it's highly amusing! :)

Nice thinking, she has got a different surname to me, though.

... an initial would still raise fewer eyebrows than a man using a card that says Elizabeth though :D.

These cat food pouches are 5 for £2 in A today. I have bought 5 hoping for a £1.375 apg.

I think it is probably only this flavour that might work. Results just after 4pm.

Just to note, Mrs Anon has just opted in to the P1zza Express 1000 N3ctar bonus and it says the code expires 6th January - so still worth opting in if anyone is considering getting this deal but cannot go tonight.

Glad to hear it, want to read your books. Take care.

Havnt done my own hair for few years, so have no idea on which ones are good. At the moment I am brown. I was blonde few months back, wanted to go darker for winter as roots showing too quick:rotfl::rotfl:

I have just gone from dark blonde to light brown for winter.......I find the colours tend to come out a shade or two darker so go for the lighter ones as they look more natural.hth xx
