The main disadvantage is that pensions bring their own problems, including inflexibility/ poor access to money/ risks of investing etc. However, the new rules on making it easier to get access to your money tied up in pensions make this less of an issue than in the past.

Just had a receipt fail dramatically - really lower in price for A. Unusual at the current time:rotfl:.

Even worse vs T and expensive price-matched W:

Come to think of now, W's Brand Price Match will I think nearly always be a bad thing. As it excludes T's promotions, it is therefore going to match T at expensive non-offer full prices. Unless T has a really lower regular price (at least initially until W matches) and doesn't mark the offer on t.com, it is going to be T is best on its offers and W is matching full price expense. Virtually meaningless and somewhat useless to us therefore:rotfl:.

Not so bad vs Sains:mad: - more useless for BM:p.

Sains would now be a better place, with ability to use cond.spends against their own higher prices - however it does not help at all when they lower their prices:mad: but very often never actually to price-match A (instead, the way I look at it, to thwart us - now having to buy more to reach cond.spend - as well as contributing little back to any BM). It means normal shoppers have more chance of their shopping being offset and reducing a BM voucher (if not taking one away completely) whilst S not quite matching A's price on the shelf at all. Thus S gets - if the shopper lost the BM, as is more likely on a lower, but not price-matched, price - Sains. price, which is more expensive than A, on the item they reduced a little but not quite as much, together with Sains prices on everything else:mad: (things that probably should all have been bought in A for 10% cheaper). Hopeless - the item that has been put on S offer but still a worse price than A - just buy the one item in A. Does anyone really need Coconut Water though?:eek:

Sains is same individual price as A but is worse only because A is :mad:requiring people to buy three:p:p:rotfl:.

On this occasion, it's because A has an mbuy "offer" that Sains doesn't have. However, I've seen a few items in the past - Lily O'Brien chocolates spring to mind - where A put its individual price down - and Sains lowered its price but still left it somewhat higher than A. It thus ruins BM for targetted shoppers - giving little back off use of a cond spend - having to buy more in Sains both to reach that and to make the BM back otherwise worthwhile - would be much better if Sains were full high price and didn't pretend to match A's prices - and means that non-targetted shops are more likely to obtain the product at Sains non-pricematched still a bit more expensive (than A) price, being more likely to lose a BM completely due to buying S cheaper branded items (that should have been bought in A and then claimed 10% lower) without S actually matching the price of the A offer item on the shelf at all. So, if you want a BM, to force Sains to match the A price on that item, it's much less difference as to now not be worthwhile, whilst if you are a normal shopper, you likely pay S its still higher than A price:mad: - and then more likely get a "cheaper" notice (because you've bought S's offers) and think Sains is a cheaper place to shop!

That Coconut Water looks like a carton. My guide price on 1L cartons would be £1, or less, and not nearly £1.67 three times over!
